I have worn many “hats” in my life as a creative artist, but being a hairstylist was my first love and my favorite career of all.

When I was 5 years old my mother gave me my own set of hair curlers and I would spend hours in my room playing dress up and doing my hair and my dolls hair. In high school I would experiment on my friend’s with cuts and color, often figuring out how to fix our crazy mistakes. After high school I went to beauty school and learned how to do hair the right way. While in school, I went platinum blonde and was immediately told I looked like Marilyn Monroe, which lead to a side career as a Marilyn Monroe Impersonator. I needed costumes, which lead to another side career as a seamstress and costume designer. All along my career path, I never stopped doing hair, working in salons and as an independant stylist. I love the gratification of having a client show me a picture of her dream Hair and making that dream come true. That’s why I named my business DreamHair. I’ve had a lot of my dreams come true and I want to be a part of making others dreams come true. To me, creativity is a gift meant to share. I hope that I can make a positive impact in your life by helping you look and feel your best and being your friend behind the chair.

I am from The Pacific Northwest and moved to Saint Joseph with my husband in 2021, where we have been renovating our 100 year old hobby farm and raising Nigerian Dwarf Goats!
